I have been struggling with my weight the last few years, which has brought me to find foods and proper exercise to help me with my weight loss journey.
These foods below have helped me, and I felt I would help you all. Remember, exercise and eating well in combination will help you lose weight. At least for me, I hope this article helps you.
Whole Fruits
Even though juicing may help you lose weight, the juice is pretty high in calories and won’t keep you as a whole as solid fruits.
I have found, though, that whole fruit provides more nutrition with more fibers as well. The absorption of calories will also decrease. Therefore, natural fruit and a glass of water can be better for you.
Quinoa
A college friend put me on with quinoa as a substitution for rice. It is filling and has a lot of nutritional value.
This makes it part of the best meals to start the day, and it’s also effortless. As well as a great substitute for rice. Therefore, it works in many types of dishes, and you’ll never be tired of eating it.
Salmon
Salmon is high in nutrients with good calories, and once your body gets all the nutrients in each, it won’t ask you to ignore that you should.
It also includes vitamin B12, an essential part of your diet, and it helps if you already have a reduced-calorie diet and regular exercise to lose weight.
Soup
Before every meal could help you successfully lose weight. Soup could help you fill fuller, which will cause you to eat less.
This is the same effect if you were to drink water 30 minutes before you. Eating soup is also an excellent way to add water to your diet, which can help you lose weight.
Spinach
It is a low-calorie food, and a great source of dietary fiber that boosts society fiber isn’t fully absorbed into your body, so it helps you fill up.
Still, it doesn’t make you gain weight. You should replace high-calorie foods with spinach to reduce your overall calorie intake. Spinach can be used in a lot of meals. Easy to cook and pretty tasty as well.
Vegetarian Foods (No, not beer and pasta, lol)
Many people become vegan or vegetarian because of meat and, more importantly, animals.
In doing so, you will find yourself losing weight. Becoming a vegetarian is hard; that’s why I suggest you slowly go into it. If you are motivated to save the animals or lessen your risk of a heart attack, that may be what you need to change your eating habits.
It’s easier to feel supported when you are part of a community. A vegetarian diet will give you more energy, which will allow you to exercise more which will lead to more weight loss. The results may surprise you, and once you start, you may not go back.
Water
It’s not food, lol, but like I stated earlier, drinking water before your meal can help you eat less, less caloric input equals more weight loss.
At the same time, your body comprises at least 60% water. If you do not like water like my wife, I suggest adding flavor to your water, such as lemons or lime.
The reason is that you will feel fuller. Causing you to eat fewer calories, and you will try any of these foods this year.
