The Wealth Building Dad House Rules

The Wealth Building Dad House Rules

I’m sure I’ll forget something, so consider this page a continual work in process. I’ll add and subtract from it as time goes by, so keep checking in if you’re interested in how this blog will operate.

Disclaimer

I will begin with what is evident to me but probably not to you (since you don’t know me).

I am not a financial planner. I have no professional financial training, nor am I a fitness trainer/doctor or fitness certifications. The opinions on this blog are mine and are just that — opinions. I do not give financial advice or fitness advice. It’s impossible to do that as every financial situation is different, and I don’t know your situation. The blog is for entertainment purposes only and never meant to be advice. I’ll tell you what I do and what my results are. Yes, I will be vital in my opinions, but this is never meant to be straightforward advice. What’s worked for me may or may not work for you.

Any information shared on The Wealth Building Dad does not constitute financial or fitness/health advice. The website only provides general information and does not attempt to give you advice related to your specific circumstances. You are advised to discuss your particular requirements with an independent financial adviser, CPA, nutritionist, or doctor.

Earning Notice

There are ads on this site. There are also affiliate links where you click on a link, and I get paid a commission if you buy something. If you have a question about whether or not something is an ad/paid for, assume it is. In the vast majority of these cases, your cost for buying is not any higher because you bought through my link. It’s simply a marketing cost from the company. But that’s not always the case. My policy is that I do not include links for items I do not either use personally or endorse for people in a specific financial situation.

Per FTC guidelines, this website may be compensated by companies mentioned through advertising, affiliate programs, or otherwise.

Paid and Guest Posts

It’s common for bloggers to receive requests to post articles written by someone else (either for pay or for free). When an article is not written by me (either paid or free), I disclose that information.

I don’t accept guest posts from people I don’t know and don’t accept unsolicited guest post requests. Any guest posts on The Wealth Building Dad are generally ones that I have solicited because the author had unique expertise in the subject matter covered. I will not reply if you send me an email asking for a guest post. Why? Because if you can’t read the blog rules and already know I don’t accept these posts, you aren’t the sort of person I’d ever let you post anyway. Sorry to sound so harsh, but my bloggers’ friends say this is a real problem, and I want to nip it in the bud.

Privacy Statement

Assume you have no privacy here or anywhere else on the web. That’s my policy, and it always seems to work. I do not share or sell my email list and do not track people precisely (I will look at site-wide stats) on the site. Believe me. I have better things to do. But always assume someone is watching and behave as such.

Posting Schedule

This has varied over time, but we’ve settled into a rhythm of once or twice a week, and I’m likely to continue this pace for the foreseeable future.

Comments

Comments can be tricky as the anonymous nature of the web seems to bring out the jerk in many people. So here’s how I handle comments: 1) I reserve the right to edit, delete, or not publish any comment for any reason. I want to encourage debate and conversation, but if you’re rude, vulgar, insulting, etc., your comment may be deleted. 2) Any comment left here is my property; I can use it however I like. You recognize this fact when you leave a comment here.

Trademark

All posts, comments, and anything else on this site are trademarked by The Wealth Building Dad and not to be used without permission. All posts are © 2021-2022, The Wealth Building Dad.

Changes

I reserve the right to change these and any other policies when and how I like them (even without updating this page). As I said earlier, check back for changes if you have any questions. This post will be included in my footer section, making it easy to find.

Security

The site is upgraded with a secure connection on every page. This is why you see the “lock” icon in the browser bar, the “HTTPS” in the URL, and the security certificate on the site. This is for your protection — to ensure you don’t pick up anything wrong while visiting the site. I want this to be a safe and secure area for us all and have taken extra steps to make that possible.
